It was refreshing - and, quite frankly, a bit shocking - to hear this week that a School Board Member in Baker County has made good on his pledge to donate half of his salary to get the Baker County PTA back on it's feet. After a slew of bad press in other counties around NE Florida it is indeed a good sign to see such good faith measures taking place.
For the second cartoon, I wanted to remind readers at the beach, that this might not be the best weekend to take up surfing as a hobby. 8-10 swells are definitely NOT for beginners.
