Last syndicate cartoon of the week

I'll let this one speak for itself. I had been looking for a way to use the "Porch of The Maidens" on the Acropolis in a cartoon, and this week finally gave me that opportunity.

Today's local fare

I have a feeling this cartoon might get letters. My cartoons referencing religion in any way shape or form are notorious for getting people riled up. My favorite part of the cartoon is the first "woot" in recorded history.

This week's syndicate cartoons

I got a kick out of this week's vote in the House which passed a resolution reaffirming that our country's motto remain “In God We Trust.” Really? That's the best they could do? Meanwhile the Country is going straight down the tubes because they can't agree on much else. The second cartoon deals with the new smoke trails leading out of Herman Cain's campaign kitchen.

Back from vacation, and I've finally got some time to post these. The local one (with the propane tanks) is probably my favorite. I really enjoyed inking that one, and I like the way the drawing came out. More later this week, so stay tooned! -E

I've been busy with separate projects the past two weeks, so I've let my blog posts go a bit. Sorry. Here's a page I sketched up in the Moleskine Sunday. Now that my square for the Up and Cummers Show is finished, and that 3500 square foot monster is designed out at the beach, I can get back to cartooning more as well. I've got a couple of opportunities for new publication coming up too, so stay tooned!

I'd been looking for a way to marry the Occupy Wall Street crowd with the upcoming election, and I finally found it this morning.

Breaking in a new Moleskine

Ran out of room in the old sketchbook yesterday, so I had to break out a new one. It was fun getting back to drawing the figure again. Hope to start back on a regular basis now that a couple of projects are finishing up.
