I really can appreciate the work that went into the design of these characters. By having to recreate them, thru the use of circular forms, ovals, and bean-like shapes, I can see where drawing these types of forms over and over can really help strengthen your animation skills. Notice how the cross-sections, the line-of-action (more on this later) and the relative distance between circular forms helps define the character.
