More on Huckabee

When I heard this guy defending the Confederate flag, I was taken aback. It got me to thinking about which candidates really stand for change, and which ones are just the old guard (especially on the Republican side). I've also been waiting for the opportunity to use the Huckleberry Finn metaphor, so here's the cartoon that came from all that. Some people told me not to use the word "boy," I truly believe that that is what makes the cartoon sing.

ED! I'm out there and reading the posts. Keep up the fabulous work. Are you planning on using painter more in the future?

Hey Justin.
Thanks.
Wow, I guess people really DO read this thing. Anyway, to answer your question, yes, I am planning to do more in Painter. I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago that my goal is to eventually do cartoons completely on the computer. That means no light table, no white out, no ink. BUT, I want them to "look" like they were done by hand. Stay tooned. In the meantime, here's an illustration I did a while back in Photoshop. I want them to look kinda like this. You may have to cut-n-paste the URL. (http://bp2.blogger.com/_SolFf-oGbpY/RxOG9QW8xzI/AAAAAAAAAe8/IJF5eoiNWJg/s1600-h/sgthog8.jpg)
