Working off of a very tiny rough

Today's first (local) cartoon was inspired by an article in this morning's USA Today. It relates to our area beaches, so I figured I'd do something with it. The interesting thing about this idea was where and how I got it. I was eating breakfast, and didn't want the idea to slip away so I literally drew it on my napkin in about 20 seconds. And it was small - about the size of a postage stamp (the napkin had alot of jelly on it). This might be the smallest rough I've ever worked off of. Here it is:
















And here's the final cartoon. I actually flipped the rough in Photoshop before I transfered it because I liked the left to right direction of the action better. That's why the type is backwards.
